From the beginning of July to the end of September 2023, Cazalys trivia players raised $4,926 to help Shelter Housing Action Cairns (SHAC) provide accommodation and other services and support to families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Each quarter, Cazalys trivia players choose a different local charity to support, with half of the $3 entry fee from both Monday and Wednesday sessions being donated.
Last night, representatives from SHAC formed a team (SHAC Attack!) and joined us a for a night of trivia, where Jade from SHAC was presented with a cheque by trivia host Todd.
SHAC is an established not-for-profit organisation within the Cairns region, dedicated to eliminating homelessness, and helping families on their path to a secure future. SHAC delivers a range of housing, support and microfinance services to the community.
