The international season begins in the Top End with Darwin, Cairns and Mackay hosting three men’s T20Is and three ODIs between Australia and South Africa following their showdown in the World Test Championship final at Lord’s in June.

The series-opening T20Is in Darwin will see international cricket return to the Northern Territory after a 17-year hiatus while Mackay and Cairns will provide a tropical backdrop for some exciting early-season encounters.

Cazalys Stadium will host Men’s T20I Series v South Africa on Saturday, August 16, 2025 & Men’s ODI Series v South Africa on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
