This week is Planet Ark National Recycling Week and we at Cazalys are proud to be big up-cyclers and recyclers. Our promotions & events department loves a reuse! We love to hit up an OP shop and find lightly used items to turn into our costumes & decor. And because we might be hoarders we never throw anything away that we can reuse. You will often see something we’ve purchased being used multiple times as decor for different holidays, parties & events.

Old tarps turned into costumes, home decor turned into a seafood serving device, costumes from a local musical being reused, bird cages turned into skeleton holders… we’ve done it all here at Cazalys! We’re not just saving money (though that does help!) we’re also helping to reduce waste and limit our reliance on single use items and fast fashion websites.
