Listen to Jason Wale, General Manager Cazalys Cairns, being interviewed by ABC Radio Brisbane on theΒ clubs role in supporting the community in the aftermath of ex-Tropical Cyclone Jasper.
It’s heartening to witness community clubs collaborating with organisations like the SES, Salvation Army, and Lions to provide crucial support where it’s most needed.

Queensland’s brave SES workers departing and arriving from Cazalys Stadium.
Most of these crews have been flown up from Brisbane and surrounding areas to help.
We thank you with all our hearts for coming to the rescue in Cairns’ time of need.
And a big thank you to Nautilus Aviation and your pilots for flying the SES in and out all day.
They are all very tired when they arrive back and in much need of a hot drink.
Remember we are also taking donations of food, water, blankets etc. at Cazalys all day to be delivered to the Salvation Army first thing tomorrow morning.
