The Main Event sees an emerging superstar Boots Ennis in a rematch against Ukrainian technician Karen Chukhadzhain. for the IBF Welterweight World Title. The two men met in 2023 when Chukhadzhain was outpointed by Boots but showed his durability in ending Boots’s 6 year knockout streak. Since that bout Chukhadzhain had rattled off 3 straight wins to earn his rematch. The undefeated hometown king Ennis now gets his chance to end the rivalry once and for all by making sure this this time Chukhadzhain doesn’t see the final bell.
Boots is the next boxing superstar in waiting. He’s an aggressive power puncher who finsihes fights in one of the more popular weight divisions in all of boxing. When Boots fights, you watch. The whole boxing world is excited to see if Chukhadzhain has made the adjustments from the first fight, or if Boots is just a class above.
The penultimate event of the card sees another EV Live favourite, the undefeated Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodrequiz taking on experienced Mexican Pedro Guevara for the WBC Super Flyweight Title. We last saw Bam back in June where he hit the canvas once before rallying back to end Juan Estrada in round 7 and take his title. He now defends the belt against mandatory challenger Guevara. The experienced Mexican earnt his shot after beating Australia’s own Andrew Moloney in Perth earlier this year.
The two kings, Boots & Bam are legit – powerful, exciting, undefeated finishers up against two men given nothing who’ve earned every chance they have got!
Sunday November 10th from 10am.
