Cazalys supports local talent.

Growing up without the influence of radio or television Kaweyova started out singing traditional island songs from the Trobriand Islands, PNG. Self-taught on guitar and in singing, Kaweyova picked up her music talents from watching her cousins play. Singing and dancing was very much a part of her daily life and culture. Kaweyova worked in PNG, Dubai, Fiji and is now based in Australia. She also performs on-board the P&O Australia cruise ships as a guest entertainer.

Kaweyova now resides in Cairns and when she is not sailing the seas, you can find her performing at local venues with her 4-piece band that consists of Ian Lewerissa (Guitar), Zdenek Styk (Keyboards, Guitar), Enzo Russo (Bass) and Jonathan Barbagallo (Drums). Kaweyova and Band have recently supported artists like international star, Aloe Blacc, Australia’s very own Vika and Linda Bull, The Bamboos and Pete Murray.
